Google adds new visual updates to Search Console reports

Google continues to work on the new Search Console, and has added new visual updates to add more context to the data.
Google has implemented several new visual updates to the Search Console reports, which aim to offer more context to the data in the reports.
The updates include:
- Annotation cards: If you hover over bullet points in the report it will reveal more information about the issue detected on that date
- Difference column: Compare data over different time periods
- Filter/compare: Features a new look and pre-populated data
- Date picker and comparison view: Overall UI design improvements
The news was revealed on Twitter, where Google also published a handy video demonstrating how the new annotation cards work.

Google Search Console to alert webmasters when sites move to mobile-first index
In other Search Console-related news, Google's John Mueller has revealed on stage at SMX Munich today (Tuesday 20 March 2018), that Search Console will notify webmasters when their site has been moved to Google's new 'mobile-first' index.
