What is SEOmonitor?

SEOmonitor started life as an SEO agency, until Google decided to remove organic keyword data from Google Analytics. SEOmonitor then took up the challenge to measure non-branded organic search visits, and the tool was born.

What does SEOmonitor do?

SEOmonitor is primarily a reporting tool, providing a full set of data on organic keywords – which can also be used to research keywords and topics.

It gives you a full breakdown of the keywords providing traffic to a given website, complete with metrics such as the search volume, click through rate, average position, the number of search visits from each keyword, the bounce rate and conversion rate.

One of the best features of SEOmonitor is the Topic Explorer, which focuses on ‘topics’ rather than just individual keywords. The Topic Explorer tool links different keywords to a topic to find semantically-related keywords, so input a topic as broad as ‘car insurance’, for example, and you get a huge list of keywords associated with that topic – not just keywords with ‘car’ and ‘insurance’ in them.

The team at SEOmonitor have also developed their own metric known as Visibility Score, which is a more intuitive way to assess keywords rather than the arbitrary ‘Keyword Difficulty’ metrics some other tools provide. Visibility Score  blends rankings and search volumes in a way that makes it more relevant, insightful and easier to understand than any other SEO performance tracking approach.

How much does SEOmonitor cost?

SEOmonitor’s pricing is based on the amount of websites and keywords you wish to track.

It has a sliding scale which automatically changes as your account grows.

Example costs:

1 website and 300 keywords: €49/month

2 websites and 1,000 keywords: €104/month

5 websites and 5,000 keywords: €270/month
