What is Sitebulb?

Sitebulb is a desktop website crawler, which means it is a separate program that you install on your computer rather than a browser-based crawler like DeepCrawl.

Once installed, Sitebulb will crawl your website and provide actionable insights regarding what needs improving to help you increase organic ranking positions and traffic.

What does Sitebulb do?

While there are a lot of crawling tools available, Sitebulb stands out thanks to its intuitive dashboard and highly actionable insights.

In simple terms, Sitebulb helps to demonstrate how "crawler-friendly" your website is - showing you exactly how search engines view your site.

Making sure your content is crawled and indexed by search engines is integral to good search engine optimisation.

Sitebulb's Crawl Report allows you to build up an understanding of how efficiently your site can be crawled and what types of data crawlers are finding.

For example, Sitebulb will flag any broken redirects or internal and external links.

Sitebulb also displays the 'crawl depth' as well as status codes and server response codes, so you get a comprehensive view of your site architecture and an in-depth look at your crawl efficiency.

As well as the wealth of crawl data you get with Sitebulb, another handy feature is the ability to overlay your search traffic data on top of it to help you identify traffic gaps.

This allows you to quickly see which pages are getting organic traffic, and how many pages receive little or no traffic and are candidates for pruning or updating.

An important, yet often overlooked, aspect of SEO is internal linking. Optimising your internal linking structure can provide big SEO benefits, and with Sitebulb you can examine the link distribution across your site, so you can make sure that the most important pages are getting the most internal links.

How much does Sitebulb cost?

Unlike some of the other desktop crawling tools on the market, Sitebulb's pricing structure is mercifully simple.

The Pro package costs £25+VAT per month for one user. Additional user licences are then available for a further £2.50 per month.

The Pro package gives you:

  • Up to 2,000,000 URLS per Audit
  • Unlimited Audits
  • Javascript Crawler
  • Crawl Maps
  • Duplicate Content
  • Site Performance
  • Mobile Friendly Checking
